Join us for “The History of Scouting in Lawrence County”
Presenter: Colleen Chamberlain, Outdoor Activities Coordinator and Unit Trainer for BSA Troop 743. Chamberlain is also active at the District (King Beaver), and Council (Moraine Trails) levels of the Boy Scouts of America, and is a District Award of Merit and Council Silver Beaver recipient.
Her presentation will provide
- Insight on how the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of America have made their mark here in Lawrence County
- How their changes over the years have affected today’s youth and our community
- How Scouting benefits our local area
- Insight from some of today’s Scouts
- Displays of Scouting memorabilia
Mrs. Chamberlain is the proud mother of an Eagle Scout, and continues to assist local Scouts and Scouters at all levels.
