From the historical context and migration patterns that brought them to North America, to their role in Pennsylvania’s settlement, Clark Young will discuss some of the unique challenges and effective research strategies used to uncover their records, including land, military, court and church records.

Megan Clark Young is the 2023-2024 President of The Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society (WPGS), a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization of amateur and professional family historians and genealogists dedicated to the study and preservation of family history mainly in Western Pennsylvania.
