Stories Under the Stars (2022)

Join us for a magical, family-friendly evening for the young and young-at-heart under the stars hosted by The Lawrence County Historical Society. Snuggle into your lawn chairs and blankets and LISTEN as three experienced storytellers weave tales certain to capture the imagination of the audience.
STORYTELLERS
- Mike Perry – a graduate from Duquesne University, Mike has a broad and adventurous background ranging from working in a circus to the US Census Bureau, from major motion pictures to an elementary school teacher. Mike currently resides in Pittsburgh PA.
- David Brauer – with an extensive background in marketing for the largest highly protected risk insurance company, a senior vice president with the largest insurance broker and a managing director of one of the largest casualty insurers, David now spends his time as an author, professional storyteller, business consultant, sales mentor and professional grandfather. He currently resides in Wexford PA.
- Judi Young-Tarowsky – a one-time New Castle native, Judi received a Journalism degree from West Virginia University. She worked for newspapers in the Upper Ohio Valley for 25 years. Judi discovered storytelling in 2006 and has been active ever since. She is a member of the West Virginia Storytelling Guild and a past president of the same. Judi presently resides in Weirton WV.
