Staff Sergeant. 401st Bomber Group, Heavy, 613th Bomber Squadron, US Army Air Corps.

Died: February 12, 1945 (KIA)
Sgt. Louis Leroy Donley was awarded the Purple Heart on Feb 3, 1945, just days before his death in action in Germany.
He enlisted in the Army in Erie, Pennsylvania, on March 10, 1943. He was inservice from April 1943 and had been overseas for a year. Sg. Donley was in the 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division. He was 20 years of age.
